GETTING INVOLVED

United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The UMW begins with You, the local unit member. You are the base upon which the total structure is built.  You may become involved in any of the levels at any time.  The mission money of the United Methodist church depends on your desire to give above and beyond your local church responsibilities through UMW.  You make missions happen every day!

Meetings are held throughout the year and include UMW members and the Ellen Littell Missionary Circle.  A program and meeting guide is available to all members at the beginning of the year.
Leadership includes officers and mission coordinators for Social Action, Spiritual Growth, Communications & Secretarial Program Resources, Membership, Nurture & Outreach, Education & Interpretation.
