Service Information Worship services are conducted on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. from the Sunday after Labor Day to mid-June. Summer services start at 9:30 a.m. All of our services include liturgy, music and quiet time. The Pastor’s message is appropriate to themes and seasons, and is based on the Revised Common Lectionary, a prescribed set of scriptural texts for the church year. Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month and at Christmas and Easter. Baptisms are scheduled with the Pastor. The building is handicapped accessible with an elevator located next to the driveway parking in back of the church. Children in Worship Children are welcome in church – they are our future. They learn worship by being with church families, parents and caring adults. They listen to Bible stories and witness Baptism and Holy Communion. There is a special time for our Young Disciples during the service. After this time, Child Care is available for children in first grade or younger. Older children are encouraged to stay for the rest of the service. We provide crayons and church-oriented coloring and puzzle sheets for elementary age children. Music Ministry Working with the Pastor, the worship Committee and Minister of Music guide and implement music in Worship and special services. The Choir rehearses Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary with Choir Director Judy Green and Organist Del Chavez. Contact Judy if you would like to participate in the Choir or on the committee. Serving Christ through Worship Men, women and older youth are welcome to join in serving Christ during Worship. Liturgists assist with the order of Worship. Greeters/ushers welcome our church families and visitors, and pass the offering plates during the service. Child Care during the service is provided by adult volunteers. Communion Stewards are needed to prepare Holy Communion, and Servers assist the Pastor during the ritual. Download and print this page.
